HOW TO REGISTER FOR OUR ONLINE SERVICES

To get non-urgent advice for a specific condition, general advice or administrative help, without the need to register, use eConsult.

To book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical records you will need to register for 'The Waiting Room'. This service is available and 24/7/365 and can be accessed from your home computer, tablet or mobile phone. Patients must be aged 16 and over to use this service.

To register please visit the surgery, complete a short registration form and provide one form of photo ID (see below).

To allow this increased access you will need to reconfirm your identity in one of two ways:

  • Photo ID - for example, a passport, bus pass or photocard driving licence.
  • If you do not have suitable ID but are well known to your surgery, a member of staff may be able to confirm your identity.

Once registered, you can look at your records securely whenever you want, even from the comfort of your home, and find answers to questions you may have without ringing your doctor. In the future, you will be able to see even more with our online services. This will include information on illnesses and immunisations.

(If you registered with our online service before 31 March 2017 you will be able to request an ‘upgrade’ to allow you to view your coded medical history and results).
