May Bank Holiday Information and Opening Times 2019

Practice opening times over the May Bank Holiday period will be:

Thu 2 May - Open as usual 8am-12:30pm, Closed 2-6pm (for staff training)
Fri 3 May - Open as usual
Sat 4 May - Closed
Sun 5 May - Closed
Mon 6 May - Closed
Tue 7 May - Open as usual
Wed 8 May - Open as usual

Thu 23 May - Open as usual
Fri 24 May - Open as usual
Sat 25 May - Closed
Sun 26 May - Closed
Mon 27 May - Closed
Tue 28 May - Open as usual
Wed 29 May - Open as usual


Outside our normal opening times, pharmacy cover over the holiday period will be provided by local Parmacies. Further information on opening hours is available here

Emergency Supply Service - If find that you have run out of your medication over the holiday period you can ask your local pharmacy to provide you with an emergency supply (of up to 5 days).

Minor Injury & Emergency Departments

Minor injury units and urgent care centres are open over the holiday period – including West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance, which is open 24-hours, and the primary care centre at Camborne Redruth community hospital, which is open from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not sure where to go, you can dial 111 and they will direct you to the most appropriate place for your needs. NHS 111 provides 24-hour expert non-emergency medical help, including when your GP surgery is closed.
